Devil In My Details

This is a self-portrait shot. No kidding! To say getting this shot was a task would be grossly misrepresenting how much time & effort went in to this. For the shot itself, I had to time a breaking wave hitting the wall against my ten second timer. Run to get in my position & hope I captured not only the shot but also a wave large enough to make the shot worthwhile. This shot has taken me a month to get. Three failed attempts in the previous weekends thanks to low, high tides or the sky being so gray that there was no contrast with the breaking water against the sky. This is one of the reasons I now have so many wave captures ready to post. Just wait until you see the ones I captured this week. Living on the brink of self-catastrophe! Enjoy, my friends.
