One can see so many elements of graciousness in just this one picture. Like a beautiful, graceful lady flowing in a cascade of waterfall amidst the beautiful explosion of autumn colours!

Thank you. There are lots of places around the Eugene area that are amazing. That is my home base, after all. The whole state is astounding really. Can't blame you for following the coastline. The beaches here are beautiful too. :)

This was our first time there so we did what all tourists do but once in eugene our friends showed us around. To the 3 sisters and some waterfalls that the name escapes me at the moment. We liked it and now know y its so beautiful and green......just like germany, it rains a lot!

Actually, I ran up to Pyramid Lake to get some shots of the tufa and the pyramid that the lake gets its name from.

Tufa? Like at Mono Lake in California? I had no idea. Stupid me is so preoccupied with shooting water all the time. I would love to get into some caves to take photos. I'll check out those photos here in a few.

Yep, we have tufa, too!...I think Mono lake is more photo picturesque than what we have, but I like ours, too!

The pyramid rock actually reminds me of some of the rock formations along the coast. The tufa are nice as well. I'll have to check that place out sometime.
