40 foot drop
I spent the morning trekking around McDowell Creek park. There are lots of fallen trees & damage to the man-made structures within the park thanks to recent snowstorms. Seems as though the walkways & bridges don't stand up too well when trees fall on them.
I am so insanely happy with the way this one turned out. The early rays of the sun splitting through the forest to illuminate the mist just below the fall. Had just one of those rays of sun been touching the lip of the fall & the whole shot would have been blown.
I was also testing out my new Canon 24-105mm L glass.
