pretty! is this just off 58 near Oakridge? we drove out today on our trip to CO and points East, and I saw one very similar as we were whizzing by, wish I'd had time to stop :)

Yep, this fall is just off of Hwy. 58. I wasn't aware that you could actually see the fall from the road. I tend to always be the one in the drivers seat so it makes it hard to get a nice look around. There is a spot there on the highway right after you pass Bridge Creek where you can pull off in the eastbound lane. I had to work my way up the creek a little ways to bring the fall into view & get to a decent spot to get my shots from. Whitehead Creek is right there too. It has a namesake waterfall but it is less than stellar. You also have to bushwhack your way up the creek a good couple hundred yards to bring that one in to view. I'll have some shots of that one up on my page eventually. Have fun on your trip. Thanks for leaving me comments. :)

It is a very pretty fall. Surprising that it took me so long to capture it since it is in the county that I live in. Have fun when you get back there.
